Are they always live, anyone been done by them recently? Got flashed yesterday (about 40 in a 30) - any chance the NIP won't arrive?

I've been flashed (in late July) by these and got away with it. I was not much over the limit though. No point in waiting to see if the film had run out, these are digital with no film!

Fingers crossed. 30mph is a very low limit for that road.

Its strange, when the tunnel was first camera'd it was said that the camera's averaged you through in addition to the gatso's, yet I regularly see people zooming through and slowing down only for the camera markings which leads me to suspect that the average speed system is a load of cobblers. Anyone know better than I?
