Dangerous Driver - can I do anything about it?

I had to take avoiding action twice today to avoid a RAV4 being pretty much driven like it'd been stolen - I only concluded it wasn't stolen since shortly after barreling past me, it slowed for a speed camera (nice to see they're keeping me safe). I have a plate number + details of the car, but is this worth reporting, i.e. will anything happen to this moron?

Ar$e. I can tell you it's no fun on a round about when someone else wants two lanes. Especially when you're on a bike.

I know there have been a few threads on here recently about lack of Plod action, but I can only speak for stuff that comes my way.

If I was to get sent to this, I'd at least speak to both parties involved. OK, it might never get to Court, but I wouldn't ignore it.

If you think its worth reporting, report it. The plod might not (be able to) do anything, but at least the complaint is in the system and if further complaints are recieved about the driver then they may have enough evidence to take some effective action.

They could also follow it up properly the first time and while no legal action may be taken, an officer may at least have words.

You shouldnt make assumptions on what, if any, course of action they will take.

Just trying to balance my preference for this guy being off the road because he's dangerous against wasting the time of the BiB, because there's not sufficient evidence to do anything.

Hypothetical situation, but suppose this numpty has done this to a dozen people, none of whom report it, "because BiB won't do anything"...

Now if they all report it...

I'd let the BiB decide whether it is a waste of their time. Report him!

Just spoke to Wandsworth old bill, summary, if I want to make an allegation of without due care against this driver, I need to fill in forms in Wandsworth and then will have a full statement taken.
