speed cameras trashed

Passed a few cameras today on my way to and from Cambridge.
3 of them have been deliberatly pulled out the ground.
Some serious moving equipment like a crane or Hi-Ab would have been needed as they are well concreted in!

Do you think this is just a local thing or national?
