So a Happy New Year to all of you, and to all my BiB colleagues who are also working, stay safe.

No doubt at midnight, I shall be scrapping with idiots, if previous years' experiences are anything to go by...

BTW, I sent an e-mail to our Community Beat Manager a couple of days ago and signed off with, "Stay Safe"

He tells me it is quicker to reach him by e-mail than telephone nowadays..........goes right into his likkle diesel van apparently.

He is a big lad. In his words, "I fill a door with me hat on". :-)

Well as predicted, non stop all blummin night.

All the RTAs I went to were caused by pissed up idiot pedestrians walking into moving taxis...

And the just over 140mph pursuit down the motorway to see in the New Year... 5 detained.
