Yeah but my real answer would be no because 10mph over the speed limit is usually far too slow unless the weather is really bad. 100 mph over the speed limit is probably a bit quick though. Best bet is scrap the limits.

This seems to show that the casualty rate has dipped since the introduction of speed cameras. This is not what Safespeed tells us.
In addition the "more detailed image" www.wmsafetycameras.co.uk/images/graph.gif shows that the introduction of 50 and 70 speed limits in 1964 was associated with a significant drop in casualties.
Comments? I realise statistics can prove anything, and this graph is not attributed so there's no way we can check the sources, but this is the sort of graph that could be used by the anti-car lobby.

But 10mph in what limit? I would think 10mph over in a thirty IS too much in some places, or have I read it wrongly?
Also you can't trust the accuracy of the voting system. If you close the page and re open it, it allows you to vote again as it doesn't log your ip address. Pretty poor, but there again it may have been designed like that to give them a get out clause

Does that reaction time table indicate their view of the ability of the average motorist? Anybody who can't consistently get 0.5 seconds or under must have a connection problem! - and as for the two seconds end of the scale, an accident waiting to happen!!

Ive just realised what a pathetic little program that reactions tester is. The STOP comes after about 4 seconds on every occasion so with a little practice you can anticipate it and get fast times. I wrote a little reactions program 20 years ago on Sinclair and the timing was random.

Why is the NO choice highlighted in bright red? That by any chance wouldn't be the answer they were after would it? They ask loaded questions and highlight the answer they want in a "non-bias" poll of peoples opinions and it still goes against them 
What are the odds that the next question will read:
"Is it acceptable to run over a child while driving over the speed limit?"
When the overwhelming majority says no, this can then be used as evidence that most drivers want speed cameras

That reaction test is RUBBISH. I know for a fact that my reaction time is within 0.25 sec (for a push button test), yet according to this test I could only muster an average of 0.45 sec. So I did some controlled tests 
I found that the displayed time is about more than double the actual! Why else would the table cater for people with 2 second reaction times?
Try it for youself; wait 2-3 seconds before pressing the button and see the results.
