I had a dispute which Vodafone accepted was their fault 6 months ago but a recent credit check reveals they put a late payment mark on my credit record.

How do i go about removing this and complaining?
Does anyone have any contact details?

Thanks

Had similar, their fault, went PAYG, never looked back.

To be fair, not just Vodafone, they're all as bad.

Write a letter to CEO. Ask for deadlock letter to ombudsman if the matter isn't resolved properly.

Final straw is issuing county court claim for breach of DPA. There was a claim made by Durkin which went to the supreme court and set a precedent of sorts. Lawyers will argue that it's not a proper president as it was about scotland - however in my experience (similar to yours) the lawyers were desperate to settle before seeing who the county court judge wanted to side with.

Most likely the letter to CEO will cover it - but if it doesn't, then you could get an okay holiday out of this.

I had the same with vodafone after end of contract. They'd carried on trying to take payment from a cancelled dd for three months and I had three defaults on my credit report. I only found out when failed credit check about a year later. I checked score through equifax, there was an option to dispute the score. Equifax then contacted vodafone with details I had given of end of contract etc. About a week later I got a message from equifax saying the defaults had been removed but it would take a few months for my score to recover fully.

Interesting thread as there is a mobile phone company I am about to read through the T&C's of with a view to early termination down to their failure to correctly bill the account holders 4 months in a row.

Every month they have failed to provide discounts or include as no cost additions packages that were agreed with them. The icing on the cake was their unilateral dis-application of the NHS staff discount they give without notice and then when they had agreed they should not have removed this they tried to state that they could only apply it within the first month of a contract and so the account holder would not have the benefit of this for the remaining 20 months of their contract...

I have been a Vodafone customer for many years and have to say that I am expecting to change at the end of my contract on the basis of their behaviour and their (IME) far from acceptable network coverage which appears to me to be worse than ever. Annoying as it was down to their (once) excellent coverage compared to others that I went with them!
