Okay, I guess I am probably guilty and willing to plea such if the photo does show the relatively distinctive car I think it might.

I fall into the pretty pink far right column of the chart by 2mph

I have only 3 points on my licence for running out of fuel on a motorway slip road - I lost the petrol light roulette big time that day.

I need someone to represent me in court I guess.

Any recommendations for a petrol friendly brief in the Southampton, Hampshire area?

Points for running out of fuel?

Harsh.

TVR fuel gauges are not super accurate, IMHO.

Hazard lights on and a 200 metre walk to the petrol station. Unfortunately someone crashed on the other slip road onto the motorway and my car blocked plod on his way to the call.

He didn't like a suit and tie driving a 600bhp Merc with a fuel can in his hand and slapped me with the ticket before even talking to me. :-(

Don't take this the wrong way, I'm genuinely interested.

Why would someone who drives a 600bhp Merc be playing fuel light roulette to the point they ran out?

What has a car running out of fuel on a road got to do with an incident on the opposite carriageway?

As mentioned though, agtlaw is the person to contact.

Ps as above don't take this personally everyone who runs out of fuel on the motorway should be given 3 points doubled to 6 if it's a live lane for the chaos and risk they cause.

To add it should be Stat removed with the approx £150 bill as a reminder smile
