DL change of address?
Discussion
I have a paper licence which I quite like but really ought to change to show my new address sometime. I couldn't find the costs for a photocard licence on the dvla site. Does anybody happen to know how much it will cost? The myspace link I looked at wanted lots of personal data which, frankly I'd rather not share with all and sundry if I don't have to.

According to this it's free if changing address at the same time as upgrading!!!

Yet if you haven't moved house it's £20 - it just encourages people who are willing to sail close to the wind to use a good friend's 'accomodation' address for a month or two then switch back. No logic to their approach at all AFAICS.

If you have a current passport do it online (your mug shot is captured automatically).
Tip: keep your existing document until the new licence turns up.
