GATSO in Danbury,Essex - is it faulty?

A couple of times in the last few months I've passed a Gatso camera in Danbury, Essex that is facing the other way and it went off, with no other car on the road. Anyone know if this is a fault or can it actually catch me coming the other way when the white lines and camera are in the opposite direction? If the later then I'm waiting for the fine!

Truvelo's are forward facing cameras.

If its a GATSO and flashing oncoming traffic, chances are its a dummy.

I know the camera and its a gatso which has flashed me on one ocassion doing an indicated 31. In my case it was the oncoming traffic well above the SL at the same time which triggered the flash.

Always thought that camera was a bit dodgy...

18 months ago my wife was done by that Gatso (on her way to an emergency)

Yeh, I know I brought my HSV along to one one of the Mid- Essex meets last year.I was the road block that let you all out fromn the pub!
