63 in a 30?

What would be the likely outcome of the above? 63 in a 30, caught by a fixed scamera.

That depends Mrs F. What about 30 limits that used to be 60? Eg. leaving a village and the 30 extends half a mile on a clear safe road. I can name a few 30 limits where 60 is perfectly acceptable.

Indeed there is that, but to not see a fixed camera... what else is he not paying attention to?

why should he deserve whatever he gets for 63 in a 30? most of the 30 limits where they actually have the scameras, its safer to go much faster than the limit....

Could very easily have been a hidden scamera behind a sign..... While he was busy watching the road for any potential dangers like a safe driver would naturally do.

Just playing devils advocate really. 60 in a 30 isn't automatically dangerous.

Fair enough, if you feel ok doing double the speed limit in a 30, just don't complain when you get points and a fine

Oh and if he/she is being that observant he/she should still see a fixed camera
