wheres my points ?

hiya
teh court sent my licence back and theyve handwritten on it the fact that i was banned for 30 days under an SP30 but they do not state any points ? Am i missing something here ?

nope.. only if you are totting up

this is a regular short term ban on a clean license

Was it a ban due to "totting up" the points to 12 (i.e. you had 9 already and they gave you 3 more=12 --> ban), or a ban imposed as punishment instead of points?

If the former, I guess you go back to zero following the ban. If the latter, then any pre-existing points are probably unaffected and no new ones are added.

did you get a ban and 3 points? You'll only get points if they are expressly mentioned, my 7 day ban didn't come with points.

The only problem now is when answering the "have you ever been disqualified from driving?" question on insurance applications...

Liverpool Vic ask 'have you ever been disqualified from driving for anything other than a single speeding offense' to which the answer would be no.
