im particularly intrested on how exactly they are educating the speeding drivers...Interesting programme.
PC Darren Daniels. I hope he was playing up for the cameras and that wasn`t his normal attitude. Came over as an arrogant tw@t when dealing with the Elise. Standing there chewing with his hands tucked into his jacket while he called the bloke an idiot
And then soooooo patronising with the Saxo driver. Did have a laugh though when he called for a total lift, possibly a Hiab 
Good to see the mansfield boys doing a very professional job.
Great nick on Mr Sweary in the petrol station - blink and you missed it.
And I`m really not happy with the trucker who gave away our secrets - you can only ever see us from the waist up, so now you know!
Question for BiBs - as the cab is the guys "home" for the night, how can a driver avoid a DIC charge when sleeping after a few drinks? He may have been parked up for long enough to sober up.

The Saxo incident the PC said look at the chevrons [they pionted right] he said the road would go left [yes it does from the other way the way the car was travelling]
He looked at the left front tyre and found it to be low on tread and went on to say that on a left hander it's the left hand tyre that loads up and provides the grip

I've often wondered that toerag, I think we have to prove we had no intention of driving the vehicle, in the same way as someone on a campsite in a campervan would have to. I'll admit here, in the past I've had more than a couple, woke up in the morning and thought "no way, not driving till at least lunchtime. one of those alcometer things would have been very useful.
I thought the elise driver was treated very fairly, ok so he got spoken to like a child, but then he didn't get a ticket, for what was obviously driving like a tw@. Same thing for the biker, didn't check his mirrors, and didn't stay inside the white line. It didn't help his cause that he had no protective gear on. I'd have taken it on the chin in the same circumstances......but then I don't do things like that.
One thing that bothered me though, the cop saying solid white lines= no overtaking......WRONG !!
Overall enjoyed it, just showed how your attitude can reflect on your punishment (drunk blonde)

The A537 Cat & Fiddle road is obviously highly regarded by some of you but I am not familiar with it, so can you tell me how much of it is subject to a 50 mph limit? Based on what I saw in the programme it doesn't look as if it merits a limit as low as that, but then I would say that wouldn't I.
I must take the opportunity to have a tootle along there sometime and see what it's all about.

It's a great road triples, doesn't deserve a blanket 50 on it. As usual down to the lowest common denominator.
Did you catch Jamie Theakston saying it has no speed cameras on it?,
perhaps it's because they don't catch speeders, because there's nowhere to hide them. Even if they did, how long would it take to find out where they are. I prefer proper cops,to scameras, as illustrated, you can talk to them.

I am sure he was playing to camera as well - but not sure if this was rehearsed for camear as he was very fluent und it was alomist like he was rememebring lines to me.... but dann - you know what I am like Liebchen... Personally think my cousin BiB ist lot more acid .. but this run in family.

I think we had this conversation not so long ago. I have always thought the problem about sleeping it off in car and being DIC ist that you may have been driving under influence to get to lay-by, or may be intending to drive whilst still under influence...und I think lieber gone gave out the legal stuff at the time - but have no idea which thread it was on now....

Liebchen .. it used to be NSL und I have driven at NSL speedmit margin (und not saying what margin - but enough ...
) along without problem on each occasion in past (before new limit.) But it has macro climate und there are numpties who have no idea - but ist pusscat of road compared to Alpine roads of faster speed back "home".

Q about the trannie trucker. I thought the BiBs were a bit out of order considering the cameras were ther. One has to ask if the outcome would have been the same if one of the cops had jumped into the passenger side while the guy put his trousers on. Strange bahaviour I agree, but each to his own. 10 points probably cost the guy his job.

That is why I wear the lacy topped ones, Liebchen
I can definitely recommend them too - und you always have the spares in case of a ladder as well.
Butdo not get the hold ups- those are bit uncomfortable really - use the suspenders... mit the lace to match...
