As the people caught taking photo's are being prosecuted does this mean you cannot take photo's of a crash scene and under what law would they be charged?

I dunno about the law now, but when I'm in charge it will be "being a weapons grade bellend" As the people caught taking photo's are being prosecuted does this mean you cannot take photo's of a crash scene and under what law would they be charged?

It actually says in the article that the drivers being prosecuted were caught using their mobile phones whilst driving.
So presumably, if a proper camera was used then they couldn't be charged with mobile phone use?In that case, I suspect that a charge of not being in proper control, might be issued instead.

It's a funny old world, crash..............out come the camera phones.
Fight in the street............out come the camera phones.
Someone lying in a pool of blood on the pavement............out come the camera phones.
I do hope none of the teddys were hurt in the crash.
There were a few minor injuries, and a few in shock, but they had to grin and bear it due to all hospital beds being full of dozy HGV drivers.
Police were asking drivers not to go down to the woods today while on the 20 mile diversion.
