As per the title. I may soon be getting divorced after a shirt marriage and stand to lose a lot to a woman who has put very little in. Can some recommend a good sharp Scottish divorce solicitor please.
Many thanks in advance.
A shirt marriage? Are you sure you can't iron out any differences...Many thanks in advance.
Sorry, not at all helpful I know, but couldn't resist

OP - apologies for my poor memory but were you the chap who had a large-ish lottery win?

I won a million 2 years ago today and am as mniserable as sin. My wife (who I recently separated from) says winning it was tghe worst thing that ever happened to us and she wishes it had never happened.
It's not all it's cracked up to be and it's true, money can't buy happiness.

These two comments make no sense. On the one hand you say you and your wife are miserable after winning the money and then in this post, it's all about hanging onto it. She hates the money too, but she wants to take a chunk of it.

Makes sense to me. Money can be like a drug. All I can say is get the best you can afford and don't let the cost get in the way. You either pay big now or pay bigger later.
I would have suggested a guy who was excellent with a mates divorce but...
1. He's in England
2. He stopped practising la about a year ago (just found out).
All I can say is good luck.
