Well, yeah - but DD can mean a stay in one of her Majesty's hotels....up to two years if sentenced by a Crown court. It's also a criminal conviction rather than a traffic offence, so the implications are pretty nasty. I should imagine that he breathed a big sigh of relief after they dropped that one, and is looking forward to the speeding trial!!
