We've had a nasty accident locally yesterday in mid Wales where a child ( I believe to be 3 years old ) fell out of a moving Rolls Royce limousine! I don't know the age of the RR so I don't know if it was too old to legally require seatbelts. We all know that a child of this age riding in a car fitted with seatbelts should be in a childs safety seat but it's got me wondering what the law is concerning older vehicles especially when travelling in a limousine type?

https://www.gov.uk/seat-belts-law/if-your-vehicle-...

under 3 years old - not allowed in car
children over 3 are only allowed in the back
children who are exactly 3 implode from a clash of logic smile

if there are seat belts - then exactly as normal car regs.
