I can scan and post the article if anyone wants to see it but too embarrassed to buy a copy.

It also says a WPC is under investigation after she got spotted eating an apple in a police van.

Totally, and I’m just kidding – but the point is that this all goes along with the speed cameras, talivans, the works – the police cant even follow the rules.

So… when they get caught doing what they catch us doing, I think that shows up the whole system.

Irrelevant ; well seems to me to be very relevant. In fact more so ; Doughnuts are likely to impair your driving more than apples, I'd have thought.

I think it's a fair statement to some extent, at least the general public seem to be behind stopping nonsensical actions like this and shows to a large degree that the public are fed up with alot of the road traffic policing/scameras that we've experienced. ...but of course the "do gooder" will always prevail and their friends the scams will always be there to protect them...


I don't know the full details of the case so as far as I know the copper may have been right to stop "the bint"

Plodfan will try to just abandon this as "we must chase any crime" (which is of course total bollocks)

The problem is the grotesque waste of resources on hunting down this person, which is IMO entirely down to her complaining about it in the media.

Well this can work for us or against us. The judicial system may decide not to pursue any more drivers having a snack (three course meal is a different story ) as it is embarassing for them to account for the financial costs. Or there could be a rise in the pursuit of sneaky snackers at the wheel in an attempt to save farce oops sorry face

Either way it's no surprise as the sun has always been a pathetic dishrag of a paper (sorry I know it's insulting other types of paper such as used toilet roll!) All it seems interested in is "Look at us arn't we standing up for your rights and backing the Great British public all the way. Whilst we also make a mint out of garbage."
