speed hump victory !!!

A while ago, one of the roads passing through the estate where I live was delgated by the numpties in the ivory towers to have speed humps fitted. A good mate of mine who has a Cobra replica wrote to the council and asked them for the design and specifications of them. They promptly replied, giving all the info.
He then wrote to them, informing them that if they continued with said humps and it damages his car in any way due to the reduced ground clearance he would sue them.
Result - 12 months stay of execution of humps, leading to a rethink of height. Road now fitted with smaller, hardly worthwhile humps !!!!!
