Not declaring points on licence to insurance

Does anyone know what happens if you get a NIP, 3 points/ £60 and do not declare it to your insurance company, in the event of an accident or theft of your vehicle?

Hiya Bladey,

They will always pay out for the third parties costs/claim and hopefully will pay out for yours. However, if they can find 'any' chink in your armour that will allow them to lower the payment to you..they will..

If you were to lose your licence when it has no points and obtain a clean replacement then in the future points would be applied to that.

If you did make a claim an assessor would come round and ask questions to find a chink in your armour. So if you found your lost licence and showed him that he would have no way of knowing that it had been superseded and would tick the box satisfied that your points were as you had first said.

Just shows you that change isn't always a good thing and you mustn't forget your roots...etc..

Dont ever change back mate. An honest balanced approach goes down far better with PH'ers and you get better feedback with less bull*hit.
