camera guarantee question

Hi all,won a panasonic camera in a prize draw but i've already got a d3300 Nikon.Anyhoo,im punting the Panasonic and someone has asked me if i have the receipt for guarantee purposes,well no i obviously don't!
Panasonic have a 2 year guarantee and im sure whoever buys the camera can claim on this,no?

I'd ask whoever you won the price from or Panasonic themselves. They should be able to check the details from the serial number.

Who knows where the people who ran the competition got it from and how long it's been sat around.

Don't you usually register on their site nowadays for the warranty.

It might be an 18 month old - Pre reg you know...
