You'll be able to hear me up against Robert Gifford of PACTS (again) on Radio 5 Live at 10am today.

A Brake representative was booked, but cried off when they heard they were going to be up against me. (not the first time that's happened! )

Robert stepped into the breach. Hats off to him.

We'll be discussing the new RAC report released today. It's not much of a report sadly.

Just seen the article on the BBC site:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/4241215.stm

Good luck at 10 then Paul. Lets hope the facts can be communicated in a fair and effective way, instead of the "speed is blamed for a third of road deaths" crap on there.

What a refreshingly sensible debate.

Even the callers to the show are talking sense.

I'm listening. Even the presenter seems to be unbiased. Paul Smith is coming across well.

Well done Paul, even the other people seemed to be retreating from previous mantra's.

One thing that was greatly missing, not a single message about far too many extended limits & blanket speed limits, making the really needed ones unrespected.

Excellent about the minimal change in driver behaviour overall, but we need to point out why & the 85% percentile.

Keep up the good work Paul,

Good 'un, Paul.

Remember, 85% of pedestrians cause their own injuries....educate them first!
