I own a set of SLD920's - one for car and one for bike for my erm garage doors.

Both work 100%

What would happen I wonder if I modified one of these garage door openers to trigger my household light switches?

Seriously, I mean they have a legitimate use!

How much are door openers and where can you buy them?

How would a BiB know you had a garage door opener, what happens when you need to open the door quickly, how do they tell, and would they pull you for it if you were say, driving along and something inadvertantly set it off..............

What would they say "You made my hair dryer go funny!!"

With one am i likely to get caught.

Nah it would be too expensive to "reverse in" so I only go into the garage from the front.

I have Snooper SLD-920's and they work extremely well. The only thing is, make sure you have somewhere on the car to mount them as they are bigger than some of the rival models. They fitted into the grille on my Mk3 Golf GTI perfectly as if they were designed to go in there, but there's is absolutely nowhere for them to be mounted on my CTR so they have sat in the garage in a box for the past 2 years while I drive like a nancy, err, I mean open my garage doors manually.

Just fitted my garage door openers to my focus , i want to get the earlier style grille for the car as they will have a far better view the lattice grille that id on the car now obstructs them a bit so im not 100% about their ja.....er garage door opening abilitys
