Finding the Owner of parking spaces
Discussion
I live in a rented flat and along the access road there is a small section which is used as off road parking for visitors and residents. At the moment its pretty grim with leaves, rubbish, blocked drains and overhanging trees. I dropped a note to the council asking if they send a team out to clean it and clear the blocked drains but they responsded saying its privatly owned and i should go to the land registry to find out the owner?
I tried the website and its pretty useless unless you have a postcode and house number but doesn't give you the option to check the road or the off road parking area.
Is their another way to find out who owns the land?
The link below shows the area in question. The Red car is parked in the area, and it follows the road down and is big enough for 14-18 cars to be parked.

If you talk to the land registry they will be able to help, you can check based on a map reference etc.
Always assuming it's changed ownership, or otherwise been registered, since the introduction of compulsory registration in the '80s. If not, then there won't be any record of ownership.Odds are it's whoever owns the adjoining land.
