Two clocked at 'horrendous' speeds on NE roads.
Discussion
Context. Given the layout of the A96 where I presume these two were nabbed, and factor in the weather and traffic, 100mph+ is not too far off horrendous. We're not talking the M74 on a quiet summers eve.
Regardless, given how frequently that stretch is patrolled, they deserve punishment for sheer stupidity.

There is a throwaway line in that report, that should be the headline and story.
"one of the men was more than five times the legal limit"
I know it might be the Scottich limit and it probably relates to someone other than the drivers clocked at 100+, but regardless of that, this should be the story.

What about this cretin then, 90+ MPH in a 30 MPH road.
With a disastrous result.

Should it really be a 30 if you can manage to do 90?With a disastrous result.

Go take a look yourself, then imagine it's late at night, been raining & lots of side roads ?Yes 30 MPH is plenty fast enough.
