New average speed camera on A2 near Kidbrooke junction

Anyone else spot this recent addition? Located in the central reservation, it seems to be pointing to the eastbound traffic as the road swings left immediately after the Kidbrooke junction.

I had a search online and couldn't find anything about them going up...

Average speed cameras need to be at least in pairs

Q. What is the timetable for the installation of Average Speed Cameras on the Roads listed below ie. When will they be set up and operating?

(a) A406 – Hanger Lane to Bounds Green Road;

(b) A40 – Polish War Memorial to Paddington Slip Road;

(c) A2 – Black Prince to Tunnel Avenue; and

(d) A316 – M3 to Hogarth Roundabout.

A. It is intended to have all four schemes in place and operating by the end of the financial year 2015/16.

Yes, I'd heard they were going in all the way down to the tunnel, apparently (but don't quote me or test!) the remaining Gatsos don't work/aren't populated as there was no point sorting them out ahead of this.

Cameras are at Kidbrooke turn off, and just before the tunnel after Eltham flyover junctions.

There are only cameras going towards dover direction. Hopefully I don't get a nip for earlier today, didn't realise, 14 day wait.. sighhh
