OK, this is New Zealand, but no solicitor should behave like this - all names changed.

Bobby Sucker, solicitor, files in the high court:

George Hassock, as shareholder of Enterprise Steel Holding Ltd - First Plaintiff

Enterprise Steel Framing Ltd - second plaintiff.

Charles Wedding - First Defendant

The slight problem with all this, is that when the paperwork was filed - Enterprise Steel Holdings didn't exist - and Charles Wedding was the only director and shareholder of Enterprise Steel Framing.

So, Charles sets up Enterprise Steel Holdings, with himself as the only director and shareholder - and files a Notice of Discontinuance - by consent of all parties.

I've seen solicitors do dodgy things, but filing proceedings, misleading the court and acting without authority is completely out of order.

I will, of course, be suggesting a number of avenues of complaint - but no doubt the police will say it's a civil matter.

The problem for Bobby Sucker is that he has been manipulated by George Hassock, who is himself a very dodgy solicitor with a number of complaints against him being investigated.

Fun times.
