road with 3 speed limits
Discussion
Very odd.
the A645 out of Knottingley towards Pontefract, the bridge bit that crosses the A1.
If you approach the bridge from Knottingley, the posted speed limit is 40MPH. (1 circular 40 sign each side of the road)
If you approach the bridge from Pontefract, the speed limit stays at 30MPH as there are no signs to indicate otherwise.
If you approach the bridge from the A1 slip road (NSL) then you find that the original 40MPH signs are covered in that funny grey paint, and the council have erected a single 30MPH sign on a sandwich board on the right hand side of the road only. This would therefore be NSL (i think as the street lighting is motorway lighting (high)
Odd eh?
