Back in October, I had a stupid “looked but didn’t see” accident at a cross roads (DOH!) As a result I’ve a driver improvement day coming up (instead of an attempt to prosecute me for due lack of care & attention, lets not get into the ins and outs of whether I should of fought my case)

What can I expect from this day (and a half)? Some of the blurb accompanying the letters had a double sided A4 sheet of quote from happy clients, to which I thought “how much did they pay you to say that?”

However, can I expect a day of speed kills and the like. Has anyone else been on one of these days or can Streetcop et al shed some more light on it for me…it’s Cheshire police/county council if that makes a difference

Regards,
Iain

Treat it like a day back at school - if you learn something all well and good, if not, keep your head down, you don't want detention Rich...

If they ask you the stopping distance of a car at speed, tell them exactly what it says on the Highway code.

Never mind that you drive a modern car with brakes that mean you can stop in half the distance.....oh no.....
