Bit of a strange one this....

Was driving back home to Leeds today from Edinburgh (think it was the A697) and was flashed by a Gatso facing me (i.e. on the other side of the road). There was no other car on the other side of the road that that time, so I can only presume that I set it off.

I only saw one flash too - bottom line is, Can I be done for speeding if flashed by a Gatso facing me? Common sense would say no, but then this is Britain after all.

Any ideas?

You can't be done by a Gatso facing you.

Are you sure it was a gatso and not a truvello?
Truvello usually has a magenta flash and fill lash the front of a car.

Happens sometimes, if it flashed once it may just be a dummy unit.
