Probably yet another "Or is it just me" thread, but I seem to be getting a strong mental image of the BiB who post on here.

Street: Without a doubt, Judge Dredd quoting "I am the law" at all and sundry.

Dibble: Just like his namesake, although I have an idea he could actually be Wiggum from the simpsons.

Gone: Holding a snarling GSD at the scene of a riot, or tooled up to the nines in an armed response unit.

TonyRec: Sorry, the "Chips" thread has permanently etched an image of a CHP officer in my brain.

DVD: Wearing a judges robe and watching from on high. Impersonable, factual, yet personable.I know he's not part of the legal system any more

To any of the BiB I haven't mentioned, I apologise but keep posting and I'm sure I will be able to form a sweeping generalisation of you too

As for Slider, all I can see in my minds eye is the oiled up, muscley chap playing volleyball in "Top Gun".

What the hell does that say about me?

...just slightly more "keyed up" than Officer Dibble, and not quite as "buff" as Chief Wiggum...

No. But many have just come straight from the tutor unit They now need a subtle re-direction into the real world

I know what you mean. Tutor units don't somehow seem to capture the full benefits of one on one tutoring from a PC that knows what they are doing.

ie. ...."Did you see the curtains twitch.."
Right you are then, in we go.

Presumably you operate a system that keeps a watchful eye over recently de-tutored PC's. A good idea.. we just let them loose which is a little unfair I think.

They cannot so much as move without me knowing about it for the first few months on their own

Process registers are a wonderful thing .
the favour or bribes to slightly more experienced team members helps as well
