Driving a coach with no wipers in the rain
Discussion
Just a quick question.
Daughters school trip- The coach was very late the other day as the wipers stopped working in heavy rain.
The driver chose to drive on slowly but should he of called for a replacement vehicle and recovery of the defective coach or not?
Now edited sorry did it on my phone!

He may have done an on the hoof risk assessment and decided it was safer to proceed with caution that to load/unload a coach full of kids in bad weather. This risk assessment may well have produced and less than optimal output but no harm done.

Is it that 50/50He may have done an on the hoof risk assessment and decided it was safer to proceed with caution that to load/unload a coach full of kids in bad weather. This risk assessment may well have produced and less than optimal output but no harm done.
Just wondered what recourse there could of been.

If there had been an accident then any injuries would have been covered under motor insurance and if the driver/company were seriously negligent then criminal prosecution is a possibility.

Unusual dictionary in your phone. I'd suggest that you turn the autocorrect off if it's that bad.
Come on give him a break - it's Harvard we are talking about!http://coache.gse.harvard.edu/

WTF. Are you really saying you are complaining that there was no accident, or are you just trying to raise a lynch mop for no reason?Just wondered what recourse there could of been.
