Ok this question is because it was in Scotland, not England.

What are the speeding thresholds in Scotland? 74 or 75mph true speed in a dual carriageway NSL+a camera van. Need I be worried?

75 in a 70? I can't imagine that'll be followed up.

You were probably worried over this...? [ur]http://www.driving.co.uk/news/just-1mph-too-fast-and-youre-nicked-new-zero-tolerance-approach-to-speeding/[/url]

However, I have yet to hear of anyone warned or prosecuted for such a small margin.

THIS might have something to do with the change in approach...

It's about 3 years sincle I last had a roadside chat with Police Scotland, and I raised this exact point. From memory their threshold is the same as the rest of the UK.

The zero tolerance thing quickly dropped off the radar with the departure of Stephen House from memory - It was utterly ridiculous, and unenforceable IMO. (Pretty sure they did niot even do the 6 months from memory)
