We have had ongoing issue's with the neighbour next door, a single mom of 2 kids, the kids are approx 5 and 9. On several occasions she has come back from a night out from the local social club with the kids and plays loud music till the early hours having invited other adults back. Ive seen on a couple of occasions the kids in the garden at 5am with the mother not to be seen.
Last weekend we heard shouting about 1am, the little girl was screaming 'wake up mommy' I phoned the police and the screaming was so loud the 999 operator could hear the girl, police attended and kicked her door in, she was so drunk the police had to wake her. She was then on the drive giving insults to the police and the 5 year old was also insulting the police - was like Eastenders.
She spent the weekend in the cells and is now out and according to the police, she is unable to be alone with the kids until her court date.
I don't personally think she takes great care of the kids and can often hear them watching tv or running about at 2/3/4am.

Her mother came over yesterday to apologise and apparently she is coming over to do the same today (noise, partying etc). Maybe she will calm down but she has been a neighbour from hell up to now.
Can anyone advise on likely sentencing outcome. She has previously had a call from social services back in October for loud music and children been up at silly o'clock.
I hope she sorts herself out for the kids sake but I've got to the point I want to move house.

I hope it's more than that. Or enough that she calms down and gets her life together.

People like that rarely learn.

Even IF they take the kids off here that'll just give free reign to do what she likes when she likes in the house, so more wild parties, loud music, drunkeness whilst all the time bleating on about how much she misses her kids, how noone understands her, how oppressed she is, etc, etc.
