Council PCN and signed-for mail

[Nimby]

Just a heads-up; if you want to pay (or dispute) a Local Council parking or bus-lane fine, and send a letter tracked or signed-for, don't be surprised if the Royal Mail website says it went god-knows where regardless of the address on the envelope

All post to Reading's parking dept(and maybe many others) has a mail redirect to some outsource company in Rotherham, but there's no way you can tell from the Track & Trace receipt. It just looks to you like it went to the wrong town maybe hundreds of miles away.

This is well worth a read.
