Took the car up to 80-90 ish overtaking a 4x4 on the M62 this morning. Plod car in the distance so did a quick speed check/adjustment. As I passed he was pointing something woth optics on the front out of the drivers side window (which was down).

Question is, do they have a ping about then chase whoevers over the threshold, or do they have video capture and send out an NIP later on?

It ws round a bend, and I'd corrected my speed a good 250 yards before I passed the plod.

Is it going to be another long 2 week wait do you think?

They normally use these sort of things for a speed check so they know who to chase, they aren't connected up to record so if he didn't stop you at the time I wouldn't worry. I have seen several of these at varying degrees of illegality and have never heard anything.
