Nothing stopping you setting up a stall opposite and out PA ing them.

Many moons ago a religious nut job bunch set up shop in our town. They would [reach everyday, "God has got a case against this town" "we are all sinners" etc etc. No PA though, just stood one a box shouting out.

Militant news paper sellers would stand opposite and every time they (religious peeps) piped up, the Militant paper sellers would shout "Get yer militant" "Get the real story on Maggies gov" "get yer Militant" free Newspaper"

If' it's in a public place, try shouting "why don't you shut up, you noisy fking nutters?" at them. Embarassment might just work, and you will get a laugh of the people around you for fighting back.
