I have this theory, this feeling that there's a deliberate conspiracy by government and its agents to destabilise the country, almost to the point of anarchy to acheive its aims.
What are you on about? they shout.
Well lets not consider the means theyre employing but rather their aims.
They aim (i reckon) to gain intimate control of all of us (the population) via technological means foremost.
The destabilisation is already occuring with deliberate vote rigging on one hand, to complete lack of action and dereliction of duty by the police on the other.
Remarkably people havent cottoned on to it yet and kicked off in the way that shower of bastards in power want us to.
Once it does go tits up, theyll have the perfect excuse to introduce travel restrictions, ID cards, Biometrics taken by force, chip implants at birth (just like a dog), cameras even more widespread than ever before. The excuse as ever is "security". Whose? Not ours certainly, but theirs.
This isnt the ravings of a paranoid, having a delusional psychotic episode, thinking theyre "out to get me"....they really ARE out to get me, and you too.
Once they gain "certain" control, theyll be in for life, thats the ultimate aim.
A dictatorship thats been elected, as the opposition arent an opposition at all. Who's going to stop them?
If youre in any doubt, then ask yourself these questions:
Why dont they want to prosecute criminals?
Why do they let them out so soon?
Why do they want to criminalise me if i defend my family?
Why do they keep making new laws when theres no visible purpose for them?
Why do they need to track me?
Why are they picking on the vulnerable people in society and making examples out of them?
Why are they constantly pushing us?
You dont need to think about just the few questions posed above for more than a moment or two to know that somethings up.
From cops in cameravans to "affirmative action" (positive discrimination in favour of black and asians) in the police force; theres something absolutely not right about the way things are going, about the way theyre treating the ordinary inoffensive citizens.
Its almost as though they want us to riot.
Think about it and tell me im wrong.
Tell me you have noticed it too?

I think it's more likely that certain ....sod it.... all members of our government want to build their own little cosy empire and to have an easy life. They can make as many crap decisions they want because they KNOW they'll get their compadres to cover it up, no-one there is ever accountable. Some will be in it for the power, to watch which way us 'little people' scurry around when we get shat on from on high, I'm sure they do it for entertainment.
Look at upper management in any large company (excluding founders), it's exactly the same but on a smaller scale.
I'm not bitter, honest

I met some shady guy in a big hat at Costa Coffee the other day......
He was going on about these things called Atomic Discombobulators. I thought he was talking chuff, but you might have a point Parrot.
Seriously though, I think there's a good book in it, but I don't think there's a conspiracy.
I think this is the early stages of the buildup to closer human integration with technology. I'm not sure that anyone is engineering it. I think we are all just behaving in the way that humans in our respective social bubbles would, and what you're talking about is societies collective reaction to technology.
I'm not sure that it's good, but what can one do. Write a book I suppose.

Nah Delta, it's not that, it's economic. You have to go a long way back, to a man who came here with a plan. His name was Milton Friedman and he championed "monetarism".
He came to Britain in 1979 to the Adam Smith Institute and was the guru of the Thatcher government.
see: www.bized.ac.uk/virtual/economy/library/economists/friedman.htm
The monetarist policy was to be an economic war on the Soviet States, and any other communist states world wide. Russia did not fall of it's own accord, it was pushed, economically. It was the driving force behind Mrs Thatchers privatisations, to reduce government costs.
What they did not tell us was that "we" and "the European union" were also "targets" to rid us once and for all of the left. The "right" only must rule, with no other choice. That's the future and it's coming.
In the future you will have no free health service, you will have to pay. You will have no company pension, the "right" doesn't see why it should provide them. You will not get sick pay, "too expensive" they will say.
This economic war is taking place now.
In an attempt to keep these things, the government is seeking other ways to reduce government expendature.
PFI's to build motorways, hospitals, jails, all being built with "private money."
The police do not respond any more to "civil matters" (because it costs too much". They don't chase what "they" regard as petty criminals like those that IOLAIRE has highlighted because again it "costs money".
If they are caught, they are given "a smack on the hand" 'cause it costs money to send 'em to jail, and the scrotes leave court grinning. If they do go to jail, sentences are reduced to silly levels to: "save money".
Road Policing has been "privatised" to release Officers to other duties at no extra cost. Speed cameras have taken their place, not only do they do the job cheaply, but they bring in lots of lovely money that the Government does then not have to find. MMmmh! yummy!
Yes! You are correct Delta, It really IS all about money, more than you think!

What of the questions i posed though?
Why are they being so anti social to the ordinary people of this country?
For example:-Whats the purpose of criminalising a woman who defended her property with an air gun from a gang of taunting scum chav yobs, while they go free to continue?
Public opinion is largely that she was right and the system (again) is wrong.
Why are they harassing drivers?
Theres a hundred other questions like these which when considered, can only point in one direction, and it aint to the coffee pot or the whacky baccy.

I have long thought that there's only one political party and that it's all a way of introducing unpopular measures. One group pretends to be party A and another, party B. For a while party A governs and introduces some laws - good and bad. The bad laws get them unelected and party B gets in. They do NOT repeal the bad laws unless they need to make some worse ones. They get voted out and the old lot get back in to carry on the cycle. They all drink in the same pub, so to speak, and there are no separate parties, only "government".
>Why dont they want to prosecute criminals?
Because it's easier to fiddle the figures and launch media blitzes rather than actually stop crime. And it has the same effect from their own point of view, if not the public's. So therefore you get endless streams of statistics about how wonderful the streets are and how many millions of coppers there are which don't tally with people's actual experiences.
Because they are measured on how many they catch, so it's easier to go for soft targets.
Because the chav group of "criminals" are viewed as victims because of the policy of putting Sociology graduates in charge of the poor BiB. The fastest way to jail (other than attacking a Policeman, attacking anyone else is different) is to retaliate against a chav-type.
>Why do they let them out so soon?
It's expensive to keep them in and they don't have any space. Prisons are for "rehabilitation" - allegedly. And Politicians need to be seen to be tough, so you have this bizarre system where you give a sentence which is twice what you want and let them out half way through.
>Why do they want to criminalise me if i defend my
>family?
The Police want to move away from the idea of being citizens in uniform to being seperate, and want to keep violence responses for themselves. They will hammer anyone who defends themselves if they can, whatever the provocation.
You are not allowed to retaliate, full stop.
They also don't like it because it draws attention to the Police Service's ineptitude in stopping crime ; basically they don't bother.
Contrast for example the treatment of the GMP Copper who repeatedly kicked the bloke restrained on the floor (on video !), and the teacher who fired an airgun into the ground to scare someone.
Guess who was named and shamed, prosecuted, jailed and (probably) sacked. Guess who was investigated after making excuses to delay it, not named, not suspended etc.
>Why do they keep making new laws when theres no
>visible purpose for them?
There are media scares every so often, so to get votes Bliar et al needs to be seen to be doing something. Hence a big swathe of ill thought out initiatives (e.g. school lunches) with big PR which are not actually compatible with everything else, or are duplicates.
In Police terms this creates endless new law, which is then abused (e.g. ASBOs). The Police Service loves it because it increases its powers.
>Why do they need to track me?
Because it's easier to catch you for miniscule profitable offences. There is an obsession with controlling the generally law abiding middle group.
>Why are they picking on the vulnerable people in >society and making examples out of them?
Because it's an easy target. Why are people thrown out of mental hospitals etc. into the community prosecuted when they do something awful ? What do people expect ?
>Why are they constantly pushing us?
Partly scare tactics to get new laws through, partly for money, partly for statistical targets.

Simple:
Guns = BAD
Drivers = BAD
But overall, BECAUSE THEY CAN!
Streaky
But that indicates that theres no real reason for it.
If they do it "cos they can" then whats the point?
Theres got to actually be a reason at the back of it, just like a bully in the school has his reasons...(usually a small weener and no one to use it on) but its a reason we can all understand, but not that we condone.
Im of the opinion that theres a hell of a lot more to all this continual bollox theyre shoving at us than just "cos they can". If the truth were known, they cant.
I think we need a bit of Rumanian revolutionary action with a Caucescue-esque ending for Bliar and chums.
Thatd make me happy...ish.
