Abuse of Power

This is lighting up the whole of the USA just now and no wonder:-

When are the powers that be in the US going to understand that, in many areas, the police are out of control?
This woman is not a noisy demonstrator or an aggressive drug dealer, she's a nurse doing her job for christ's sake! She was also diplomacy personified and did everything to explain the legal situation to this officer.
The utter imbecile then arrests her, feeling confident enough to do it in front of dozens of witnesses and against the protestations of the hospital administrator. I'm willing to bet that if someone had tried to stop him the gun would have been drawn, he was that out of control.
They need to give those who apply to the police force an IQ test and a strict look at their psychological profile, because right now, in many cases, all that separates the police from the villians is the uniform.
I don't know about anyone else, but when I watch that I could cheerfully cripple that idiot, mainly because he is such an obvious bully. The sense of outrage is overpowering and it really does bring out the worst in you. Violence begats violence, eh?
