Trailer light board, correct width?
Discussion
I recently came across a 7ft wide boat trailer with a 4ft wide light board. Surely that can't be right. I'd have expected the correct board width to be 7ft. Is there a correct width or a place where I can find the legislation? I've looked on the net but most sources seem to stipulating the lighting requirements. thanks.
Try this :-

I searched for "width of trailer light board".
It looks like the light board itself is OK but the trailer needs :-
at least one red fog lamp.
White front reflectors.
White front markers/lights.

Not usually observed by agricultural trailers or farmers.
Or by people who have bike racks on the back of their car and also have a trailer board.(Which is unusual in itself, given that most just block out their rear lights with their bikes and don't give a toss about what drivers behind can or cannot see)Gassing Station | Speed, Plod & the Law | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
