How do the police go about dealing with complaints from the public in regard to instances of percieved bad driving?

Depends whether it's a member of the public (see: INTENDED PROSECUTION) or one of their own (see: WHY DO THEY EVERY TIME..) - Streaky

Easy to deal with this one delta - attend the local police station, ask to speak to the duty inspector, who will write down the details you give him and follow up the complaint.

Despite what may be said on here by certain individuals the matter is followed up, a decision made, and the complainant informed. This may take a while but it will be dealt with.

Mike.
