Driving like Miss Daisy round a roundabout and then on to an 70 mph a road a few hours ago.
Evo X from nowhere comes onto a road behind me and hangs off a few feet from my bumper expecting me to have a bit of fun with him I think? Bit greasy the roads today so couldn’t be bothered.
I accelerate to 75-80mph to pass traffic on my left and let the Evo past. He lights his Evo’s afterburner up and disappears into distance at well over 100mph maybe reaching 130-140mph up the road?
Silver unmarked Astra then shoots off from behind me in pursuit
Hope they let him off. Can’t help thinking what horrible things would have happened if I’d actually twitched my right toe as 200mph very easy to reach on this particular a road in any modern sports car.

You can see in the pic water on the surface thats close to freezing. He was gone into the distance so fast I don't think plod would have even got him on camera. Bit of frost or water nothing for an Evo. Apart from the close distance to my rear bumper (which is another reason I didn't floor it i.e. he must be slightly unhinged to get that close) it was all relatively safe - no getting out of shape or anything like that. I'm sure we've all had similar in-discretions in the past i.e. speeding (I'd never get close to someones rear bumper). I've seen the car around quite a bit - looks the biz. Next time I see him will pull him over for friendly chat. Plod here are pretty reasonable

You’ll pull him over for a chat? Expect a slightly different response to what you think will happen. TwigtheWonderkid said:

Really. I would guess that 99% of modern sports cars can't reach 200mph. TwigtheWonderkid said:

And it’s also not easy for his car to reach it either, no road car reaches its top speed with ease.
Except electronically limited ones...But tbh, it does reach it relatively easily.
