Someone local to us owns at least three 12 seater minibuses, a taxi and at least two cars. He has two parking spaces.

This means that the minibuses he uses for his minibus/taxi business are parked on the road. At least one minibus is always parked on the road; in the evening, sometimes three minibuses and the taxi. Recently, a note was left on one of his minibuses, which was not left by myself or my neighbour. It could have been any number of people. The owner of the minibuses has assumed it is our neighbour/us as the minibuses are parked in front of our houses and as a result had a bit of a verbal disagreement with the neighbour about it. He claims they are taxed and insured and there is nothing that can be done about it.

I've spoken to my girlfriend about it and neither of us has a problem with the minibuses, we have enough off-road parking so it doesn't inconvenience us and with how our house is laid out, I hardly see them.

Out of curiosity and in relation to his claims that "there is nothing that can be done about it", is that really the case? I was under the impression minibuses, had to be kept at base/operating centre, when not in use as part of licencing conditions? If there is such a requirement, I would have thought as the holder of PSV operators licence he'd be aware of this, which is why I am second-guessing!
