Also did a speed awareness course in January 2016 for doing 70mph on the a64 in my van
Had no idea the speed limit was different for a van over 2000kg but that was in North Yorkshire

Chances of getting a speed awareness course in West Yorkshire?? Or is it 3yrs n that’s it

Sorry to hear this. Were there street lights on the road you were on? At least you'll get offered a SAC.

It was on a roundabout just by Leeds audi so there’s always lights on one of those was joining a 50mph limit road m621 and genuinely thought it was a 40!

Oh well

I don’t think I can do a sac as I did one in North Yorkshire back in 2016 as detailed above unless West Yorkshire don’t spit that and offer me one

Yes, it's 3 years, and a National database of attendees.

Surely it was drummed into you on the SAC that if there's lights it's a 30 limit unless the signs say otherwise?

This is the one thing I can remember form my SAC, good advice. If its a limit other than 30, there will be repeater signs every few hundred yards.

This is why they have speed awareness courses! To educate those who are ignorant of the simplest of motoring laws!

2 speed awareness courses and you still can’t read a speed limit. There must be a more deep-rooted issue. Try BSM.

They offer about 4 different courses for different offences. You can only do each one once in 3 years but you could do 2 different courses within 3 years of each other.

That's what I was told when I did my course last year.

Clearly BS like much of the other rhetoric on the course biggrin

Yes, one every three years is supposed to be it, no idea how I managed it. Better take more notice of the course content though!
