Saw something wierd today...
Discussion
...was on the A43 this morning, heading towards the M40 to get to London. As I passed the Silverstone junction, I noticed a new LR Discovery coming down the slip-road; metallic goldy sort of colour, no markings at all. Now I wasn't hanging about (company van), but this guy caught up and passed me in no time. As he did, I noticed a couple of strange things; firstly, he seemed to have what looked like a video camera stuck to the windscreen. Secondly (and more noticeably) he had a display of some sort in the middle of the dash. This consisted of a large semi-circle of LEDs, red towards the ends of the semi-circle and green in the middle (or maybe the other way round). This display was constantly flashing from green to red and back again. It seemed far to big and obtrusive to be any kind of radar detector, so I was wondering what the hell it was and, more importantly, have I been nicked?
Any ideas, chaps?
