I have had the b2 for a week now. seems ok but the 'voice' does not warn me of cams etc.

When adjusting voice volume, it does work (but is crap - cant really tell what is being said) Have reset the unit and gone through every available setting and the handbook.

Anyone any ideas?

Thanks

Can't hear mine over the Tiv's exhaust, so rely on peripheral vision and the flashing LEDs to alert me - Streaky

You have to be going faster than the limit to trigger the voice (and mental bleeping).

My b2 was set up from the factory in such a way that it will beep (but not trigger the voice) if you are under the limit, but will play a voice warning followed by beeps if you are over the limit.

That said, I have had to return two b2 units due to speaker faults, but as you can hear the voice during volume adjustment, I don't think it's the same problem mine had. They did, however, replace the units quickly and efficiently, together with a complementary subscription extension for the inconvenience.

It might be worthwhile you telephoning their customer support line. They are quite efficient and easy to deal with, unlike most places these days.

According to my manual, you can individually adjust volume for 'beep', voice, muted, LASER, radar and 'black spot/school/CC camera' alerts: B3 for "Menu", toggle B2 to "Sound", B3, toggle B2 to "Volume", toggle B2 to alert type, B3 for > sound, B4 for <, and B5 to exit. Mine are all whacked up to maximum ... and I still can't hear them over the exhaust .

A voice alert is not provided for 'Over Speed Warning', only a 'beep' ... and IIRC (), no flashing LEDs either .

Hope this helps - Streaky
