It isn't a speed camera it is a BTP crossing camera. Some drivers try to gamble wit theirs and the lives of others by crossing over railway lines even when they are warned a train is coming. Maybe the part strap-line "Dangerous and free" is your preference, it ain't mine.
Most are too ready to allocate the speed camera motif on this but you woudl be wrong as are the cretins posting it in the first place.

If this is the case where is the level crossing?
Presumably the muppet who took the photo just drove across it.Epic fail.
Well done.

Why on earth would you operate a van like this in these utterly atrocious conditions regardless of wht it's being used for?

Behind the camera car. Why on earth would you operate a van like this in these utterly atrocious conditions regardless of wht it's being used for?
J
Why would it be anywhere else? All the cameras are pointed behind the cam car - if the level crossing was in shot, THEN it'd be a fail.
Why operate in these conditions? Probably because their job is to man a cam van at a level crossing, so they went and did their job. Do you think people stop acting like daft t
ts just because there's a bit of snow, or do you think they act more daft (because they're going slower and in a rush), or the same level of daft-ery that made the cam van necessary in the first place?Gassing Station | Speed, Plod & the Law | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
