Insuring multiple cars
Discussion
Hi guys & gals,
Just need a bit of advice on insuring cars.
I currently have three cars, one is an old classic on agreed value and the other two are mundane daily use cars insured individually for me and the wife to drive, they all have no-claims bonus attached to them.
One of those cars is on lease which I'm intending to hand back at the end of the lease period in May or June this year, this one has max no claims bonus on it.
I've now purchased an additional two cars, one to replace the lease car and the other one for using sometimes because it's more practical.
The questions I'm puzzled over are, what is the most efficient way to insure these two additional cars, do these two cars start with zero no-claims bonus or can they be added to the existing car policies. I've not done this before but it seems a bit crazy to me to be paying through the nose for insuring these cars when only two can be driven at any one time?
Any help or advice much appreciated.

You'll have to phone around to see what you can get. I have the admiral fleet insurance. Now they come in for a lot of stick, but I have found them to be good. I don't trust them with special cars, but the run of the mill stuff they seem very good at. They insure a new Renault Zoe, a 2008 vw touareg, same year fabia, and a 2001 rover 25. They recently added my niece as a named driver onto the r25 for 12 months for £200. She is a student nurse with no NCB to bring to the party. Cheap as chips. But not as good as others. YMMV.

Cheers for the advice, I think I will give Admiral a call to see how they compare with their multi-car policy.
