Never was a resolution to the thread as far as I remember. I would be amazed if any legal action ever happened given the costs and the difficulty of showing actual negligence on the part of the other driver, but stranger things have happened.

Guess the only chance of finding out is to email the OP and ask.

There have been no updates from the OP for over 2 years and no further posts by them on any other topics.

A shame as it was an interesting topic and if it had gone to court I would have been curious to find out the outcome.

Nothing much I think. Most agreed the 1 series driver was a knob and that track day insurance should have been taken out.
