If you're going to stitch someone up for a murder or two you'd be well advised to first of all check the witness you've perverted isn't intellectually disadvantaged.

Bets on how long the rest of the case lasts?

They've got no option to deal with it as it unfolded in front of them, when it's sprung like that in court. How can they do anything else?

The possibility still exists that he could have been got at by the other side too.

The same witness you're seemingly relying on to conclude they've tried to 'stitch up' the accused.
