Irresponsible driving by some Met officers!
Discussion
I respect the Police for what they do BUT what I witnessed a couple of nights ago has left me fuming. I hope some of the resident BiBs can throw some light on the behaviour of their colleagues:
I was driving along Upper Street in North London and slowed down to about 30mph for the Scamera near Islington Green. The street has a traffic island with a fence in the middle of it. Next thing I see is the Rozzers in their shiny BMW overtaking me via the opposite lane!!! No blue lights, no headlights on, just the BMW Angel Eyes... Coz it's cool innit.
At this moment I thought that maybe they were in a great hurry so not using appropriate signals was just a slip. It turns out that tw*t driver, sorry, cop driver is in no hurry at all as they wait in the traffic on the cross-roads of Upper Street and Pentonville Road.
Suddenly they do a U-turn, cut up oncoming traffic, again no lights, indicator or whatever and continue to drive sedately up towards Upper Street as if nothing happened...
Tw*ts! The two of them.
I have their registration number and was seriously thinking about lodging a complaint. Is anything going to come out of it?
